Why choose bespoke framing?

At Orlando Frames, we understand that there are some great ready made framing options if you need a quick and easy solution. However, if you’re looking for something truly unique, need conservation framing to protect a special piece of artwork, or have something that’s an unusual size, bespoke framing is the perfect choice.

How much does framing cost?

Well, that depends. Size, moulding, glass type and mounting style will all affect the cost. For any bespoke frame, the minimum cost is £120. We’re always happy to provide a quote and talk through different options. If you need to keep costs down we can cut and fit mounts into existing frames - or you may wish to check out our next float mount workshop! More info here.

What frame styles do you do?

We tailor every project to suit your artwork and your personal taste, using a thoughtfully curated and sustainably sourced range of mouldings. Choose from hand-finished solid wood frames, custom colours, veneers, aluminium, classic black and white, metallics, and a variety of decorative styles.

Do you do conservation framing?

Yes! We frame using materials and techniques that meet the Fine Art Trade Guild’s commended and conservation standards, so your artwork is kept safe and looking its best.

Can you stretch canvas?

Absolutely!

Do you replace glass?

Yes, we do. Price of glass + £15 fitting fee.

How long does framing take?

The timeline depends on the project, but we aim to complete most framing within 4-6 weeks of receiving the artwork. If you’re on a tight deadline, let us know.

Do you deliver?

Yes, we can deliver anywhere in the UK! Pricing depends on your location and delivery speed. If you’re too far to visit the studio, you can book an online consultation, and we’ll happily receive items by post or courier. For locals, we also offer home consultations and collection. Book your appointment here.

Do you offer ready-made frames?

All our frames are currently made to order.

Who are your local partners?

Since launching Orlando Frames with a charity art auction for Furnishing Futures in November 2023, we’ve proudly continued our support. Furnishing Futures create healing homes for women and children who have been rehoused after escaping domestic abuse.
